They say that the key triangle in a kitchen is the area defined by hob, sink and fridge. Two of those three corners are very much our business – hob and sink holes are cut into our solid stone worktops. Undermount Sinks are most commonly seen due to how beautifully simple it looks once installed. No lip around the sink makes for easy cleaning. Overmount sinks, otherwise known as drop-in or top-mount sinks, are inserted into a hole in the worktop, their weight supported by a lip resting on top of the worktop. Last but not least, Belfast sinks are a popular choice. The limitations are that they are very large, often expensive and may not suit, or fit, a more modern kitchen design.
