How do I get a quote?
Once you have chosen your preferred material and colour from this website or from our showroom, simply let us know the approximate sizes of the tops you require or alternatively, if you have a plan of your new kitchen, show it to us and we will do the rest. The exact measurements will be taken and a formal quotation provided before we make a template and proceed with your order.
What is the best natural stone material for kitchen worktops? Granite, quartz or marble?
Although these materials are all quarried from the earth, each has different qualities such as porosity, softness and durability. Next to precious stones such as diamond, sapphire and ruby, Granite is the hardest natural material on earth and is therefore ideally suited for kitchen worktops. Marble, however, although softer than granite, affords an amazing galaxy of colours and naturally-occurring patterns that simply exude class. Quartz is a very hard natural material that is mixed with resin to create a virtually indestructible kitchen worktop. With its low porosity and heat-resistant surface that is polished to a glass-like finish, Quartz is stain proof and should last a lifetime. So the dilemma is – Granite, Marble or Quartz for your kitchen??? Decisions, decisions. Well, relax – help is at hand. Contact the experts at Rocca or call into our showroom and we will be delighted to help you decide which is the best material for you, your kitchen - and your lifestyle!
I would like to replace the plain worktops that are in place at the moment with Rocca granite alternatives. Can Rocca replace old worktops with new granite versions leaving the rest of the kitchen as it is?
Yes, of course we can. We will professionally survey your existing kitchen arrangements, provide you with best advice as to what your best granite worktop replacement options are, and manufacture and install your new worktops within a very short space of time. You will be amazed at the new life that Rocca can bring to an established kitchen!
I propose to have a new kitchen installed by my preferred kitchen retailer but would like to have Rocca stone worktops fitted rather than the retailer’s stock versions. How does that work?
No problem – we will liaise closely with your kitchen retailer and in our own workshops, manufacture granite, marble or quartz replacement worktops as you have requested, to perfectly complement your new kitchen. Following installation of your new kitchen, we will follow-up immediately and install your new stone worktops and the job will be completed with the minimum of fuss.
I’d love to have gorgeous natural stone worktops in my kitchen but I am put-off by the thought of all the upheaval – what’s involved and how long will installation take?
Well, let’s put your mind at rest straight away. Your new worktops will be installed by our craftsmen specialists within a day. And rest assured, we take all of the debris away with us and if appropriate, dispose of your old worktops too when we are finished, leaving your home exactly as we found it – well, except for the gorgeous new natural stone worktops that we have just installed, of course!
What are the likely costs involved of having my kitchen worktops replaced with Rocca granite or quartz worktops?
Costs are estimated in proportion to the worktop area and appliance installation arrangement of your kitchen. Rocca natural stone worktops are much more affordable than most people think.
From the date of survey, how long can I expect it to take before my project is completed and installed in my home?
As soon as our surveyor’s measurements and project brief is received in our workshop, hand-crafting of your order commences immediately which is then promptly followed by installation. The average completion time for a medium to large kitchen is therefore around 3 -4 weeks from date of order to installation.
